Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics
Professor Dr. Munira Afrin serves as the professor and head of the Department of Pharmacology at Monno Medical College and Hospital, located in Monno City, Manikganj, Dhaka. She holds an MBBS degree and an M.Phil in Pharmacology. Dr. Afrin joined Monno Medical College on December 20, 2015.
In her role, Dr. Afrin is responsible for overseeing the pharmacology curriculum, ensuring that medical students receive comprehensive education in the mechanisms of drug action, therapeutic applications, and the safe use of medications. She emphasizes both theoretical understanding and practical application, preparing students to integrate pharmacological principles into clinical practice.
Dr. Afrin has also contributed to online medical education by delivering lectures on topics such as pharmacodynamics, which are available on platforms like Facebook.
